Based on 'Qigong Shibashi', which means 18 movements, this drop-in class allows anyone interested in understanding more about Tai Chi principles to join in, without the committment of a regular class. With their roots in Tai Chi, these calming and enjoyable movements are very much simpler to follow than the traditional forms but still offer many of the benefits.
The flowing movements are done to relaxing music, are simple to copy and are repeated with the instructor, so you don't have to remember a lot of instructions and sequence. This has the advantage that you won't get left behind if you can't come every week. The movements can help improve balance, flexibility, memory and general well-being through releasing stress and tension.
