You become what you practice. Practice suffering and you will get suffering. Practice becoming healthy and you will become healthy. Practice love and compassion and you will become more loving and compassionate.

Foundations - Wu Style Short Form

Mondays 10.30am to 11.30am, starting January 30th 2012

£30 paid in advance for a 5 week term

IMPORTANT! This class is not a drop-in format and you need to book and pay for your place by the start of the term.

This new class will start you on your journey of learning the Wu style short form of Tai Chi, created from the traditional 108 move long form by our master Bruce Frantzis. The short form is the ideal vehicle for anyone new to Tai Chi who wants an introduction to its principles without compromising the deeper benefits to health and vitality. Containing only 18 moves and lasting around four or five minutes, it is easy and quick enough for the busiest person to practice each day.

This first series of 5 one hour classes is designed to get your body ready to start learning the form in detail. You will discover how to exercise withiin the 70% Rule, change weight and turn whilst remaining balanced and stable, and connect your lower and upper body with Circling Hands Qigong.

The classes will then continue in 5 week blocks as we progress through learning the form.
