Tai Chi & Qigong Foundations
Neal's Yard Remedies, Salisbury, Wiltshire
1pm - 1.45pm Tai Chi Qigong 'Waves and Clouds' drop-in
£7.50 per session
'Waves and Clouds' is based on tai chi and is the name we have given to the tai chi qigong set that we teach. It is also known as 'Shibashi'. It is very much simpler to follow than learning tai chi, but still offers many of the benefits. The flowing movements are done to relaxing music, are simple to copy and are repeated with the instructor who will talk you through the moves each time, so you don't have to remember a lot of instructions and sequence. This has the advantage that you won't get left behind if you can't come every week. The movements can help improve balance, flexibility, memory and general well-being through releasing stress and tension.
2pm - 2.30pm private lesson
3pm - 4pm Dragon and Tiger Medical Qigong Beginners

Neal's Yard Remedies was born in 1981. We like to think of ourselves as pioneers. Today awareness and interest in natural remedies, skin and body care are on the increase. But when we opened our first shop in Covent Garden, we were one of the few pushing against the synthetic chemical approach to skin and health care that had been adopted by much of the industry. Our vision was to bring the expertise of the apothecary and our holistic approach to health and beauty to local people and their communities.

St Osmund's RC Primary School Exeter Street, Salisbury SP1 2SG
The simplest way to get to St Osmunds by car is via Exeter Street, turning into Carmelite Way, then taking the first right into the school car park.
Salisbury is a cathedral city located in the south-east of Wiltshire, near the edge of Salisbury Plain. It sits at the confluence of five rivers: the Nadder, Ebble, Wylye and Bourne are tributary to the Avon, which flows to the south coast and into the sea at Christchurch, Dorset. Salisbury railway station serves the city, and is the crossing point between the West of England Main Line and the Wessex Main Line making it a regional interchange.
