Tai Chi Qigong - Ringwood
Just follow along to music with our very popular Tai Chi Qigong exercise class.
There is no floor work and a chair can be provided if you absolutely need one. Suitable for complete beginners, all age groups and levels of fitness (COVID restrictions - see details for more info).
You won't know how nice it is until you try it!
PLEASE NOTE: We are currently operating under strict COVID guidelines, which means numbers are limited to 12, you must complete a track-and-trace form and please do not register if you are displaying any symptoms or are in a very vulnerable category. We also require advance payment via PayPal for all our venue-based classes because places are very limited, and unfortunately we currently cannot offer refunds if you cancel.

About the Exercises
This class is based on 'Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi', which means 18 movements. With their roots in Tai Chi, these calming and enjoyable movements are very much simpler to follow than the traditional forms but still offer many of the benefits. The flowing movements are usually done to relaxing music, are simple to copy and are repeated with the instructor, so you don't have to remember a lot of instructions and sequence. The movements can help improve balance, flexibility, memory and general well-being through releasing stress and tension.
