About the Exercises

This class is based on 'Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi', which means 18 movements. With their roots in Tai Chi, these calming and enjoyable movements are very much simpler to follow than the traditional forms but still offer many of the benefits. The flowing movements are usually done to relaxing music, are simple to copy and are repeated with the instructor, so you don't have to remember a lot of instructions and sequence. The movements can help improve balance, flexibility, memory and general well-being through releasing stress and tension.

* SEPTEMBER 2023 Cost Increase

Last year (Sep 2022 to July 2023) we reduced our day class charges from £9 to £8 per session, to support our students during the start of the cost-of-living crisis. Though the crisis has not ended, we must now accept that we cannot continue with this support in our classes; our costs to run the school have not stopped increasing during the last year, and we must now adjust our fees to £10 per session to be in line with those increases.

We must also cut down on our admin time spent managing registrations, and so from Sept 2023, we cannot offer refunds for non-attendance under any circumstances; nor can we re-schedule classes for you at the last minute. We trust you will understand this is now a necessary step for us.
